Thursday (6:30 p.m.) - Ronald McDonald Media Fashion Show
There is no better reason for a fashion show than a good cause, and the Ronald McDonald House is one of the best. In it's 22nd year, the Media Fashion Show features fashions from local retailers modeled by Saskatoon's local celebrities: member of the media and their families. Ticket includes appetizers, prizes, and more.
Tickets: $50 (available by calling 306.244.5700 ext 111).
Saturday (5 p.m.) - Moustache Bash Fashion Show
Another show for a great cause is the Moustache Bash at the Shu Box Theatre at the University of Regina, in support of Regina's Prostate Assessment Centre. Make a donation to the Prostate Centre and let Salon Snax help you send your 'stache out in style. A fashion show will feature Regina menswear store Colin O'Brian Man's Shoppe, veteran local designer Dean Renwick, and Saskatchewan Fashion Week's Emerging Designer of the year, Prahsik Designs. Donation bar, appetizers, live auction, raffle, trunk shows and entertainment. Attendees will receive a complimentary Dean Renwick bow tie or scarf.
Tickets: $150 (available on Picatic until Friday).
Sunday (4 p.m.) - Black Market Market
Think Berlin flea market meets Christmas market and boom, you've got the Black Market Market. The market will be held at the Wallstreet Common, a warehouse space currently under renovations to be turned into a beautiful collaborative office space. This will be a great opportunity to take a peek at this amazing new space before it's done while also taking in some of the best of Saskatoon's artists and artisans. Treats from The Night Oven and coffee from The Coffee Narrative will be available, as well as mulled wine and great music.
